New Insurance Broker
Following a competitive tender process conducted in April 2016, Bushwalking Australia appointed Jardine Lloyd Thompson Sport, a specialist division of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT) as the insurance broker to manage the insurance arrangements (referred to as risk protection program by JLT) for member organisations i.e. affiliated clubs and state peak bodies. The appointment took effect from 1 July 2016, with JLT assuming responsibility from that date for all Bushwalking Australia insurance matters, including enquires and claims, both new and existing. The appointment of JLT has not changed our underwriters/insurers.
All enquiries concerning insurance matters should be directed to JLT Sport by phoning 1300 574 980 or emailing email@example.com.
Claims should be submitted as soon as possible following an incident, by completing the Personal Injury Claim form116.84 KB and submitting it to the insurer, Accident and Health International (details are on the claim form). In the case of major claims (i.e. serious injury or death) please also email the Bushwalking Australia insurance manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Under the arrangements entered into with JLT, the following service levels apply. Should any Bushwalking Australia member have any complaints concerning the service provided, please contact Bushwalking Australia using the email address below.
- All enquiries acknowledged within 1 business day
- 80% of enquiries answered within 3 business days
- 100% of enquiries answered within 10 business days
All other enquiries should be directed to Bushwalking Australia.
